College & Career Center
Helping students explore educational and career options, make realistic career decisions, and establish career goals
The Career Center at Lee High School is located across the hall from the Main Office. It is designed to provide students with college planning services through the use of computer software, videos, catalogs and visits by college representatives from state and national colleges and universities. Career planning, military options, scholarship and financial aid information are also available. Throughout the year, many special programs are presented for both parents and students. Juniors and Seniors should make good use of the resources available to them at the Career Center as they decide what path to follow beyond graduation. However, it's never to early for Freshmen and Sophomores to begin planning for their futures at the Career Center as well.
What is Family Connection? Family Connection is a web-based service designed especially for high school students and their parents. Family Connection is a comprehensive website that helps students as they make decisions about academic plans, colleges, and careers. Family Connection is linked with Counselor's Office, a service used in FCPS school counseling offices to track and analyze data about college and career plans, so it provides up-to-date information that is specific to each student's school. Below are three How To Videos that Mrs. Shaw, Career Center Specialists has created for Lee students.
