The International Baccalaureate® (IB) Career-related Programme (CP) is designed for students aged 16-19.

Overview

Lee High School began offering the International Baccalaureate Career Related Program in 2012. It is run in collaboration with 3 other Fairfax County Public Schools, Annandale, Mount Vernon and South Lakes.

The Goal of the International Baccalaureate Career Program is to integrate lifelong learning skills of the International Baccalaureate Program with the practical skills of career related course offered at Robert E Lee High School.

Students will be required to complete both IB Course and Career and Technical Education Courses throughout their junior and senior years. Students will also be required to complete a language requirement, service hours and a reflective project. Students in the program will also take two years of Personal and Professional Skills, which runs during their Lancer Time.

 

IBCP provides a comprehensive educational framework that combines highly regarded and internationally recognized courses, from the IB Diploma Programme (DP), with a unique CP core and an approved career-related study.
